Gabriela Kalčíková is an environmental engineer and her research focuses on characterization of microplastics, development of analytical methods for detection and monitoring of microplastics, their interactions with organisms with special emphasis on aquatic macrophytes to develop a phytoremediation strategy for removal of microplastics from the aquatic environment.
